Minku ref

Story/ background info:

Minku is a Forest spirit animal (about the size of a grown fox) that appears on places where loads of plants and flowers grow. He is mostly found sleeping in very old and big trees. Wherever Minku has walked or appeared, more plants and flowers seem to grow. He is also known for turning grass greener when he steps on it. Although Minku does not usually appear to animals or humans, some are deemed pure enough and will be able to see him. To others, he will not appear/ is invisible. Usually he can only be seen by little children or people who devote themselves to the forest and it's wellness. He forms a bond with those people.

Despite him being worshipped by some folks and looking very serious by his description, Minku is very cheerful and clumsy, like a puppy. He usually forgets he cannot be seen by others and why he does what he does. Those who can see him, he likes to play with alot and stays with for a long time. Minku cannot control who he can and cannot see, like a higher spirit decides it for him. Eternal bad luck will usually reign on those who intentionally hurt him or the forest he walks in at the time. Minku cannot protect forests from being destroyed, since he is only a spirit. He can grow life on places where it has already been destroyed though.
